I am a cataract, cornea and refractive surgeon.

Where did you study?

I did my MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College in Delhi and my MS Ophthalmology from the famous Guru Nanak Eye Centre at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi.

What are your areas of interest Cataract and cornea?

My area of special interests are lamellar (corneal) surgeries and refractive surgery.

What inspired you to do ophthalmology?

I fell in love with corneal surgery. It is one of the finest and most beautiful ones and impacts the vision tremendously which gives happiness to the patient as well as the surgeon.

What do you do when you’re not at work?

I enjoy doing Zumba, dancing and Yoga. Favorite Quote/ Life motto: The eye sees what the mind knows!
