Age Related Macular Degeneration

Blurring and distortion of vision in patients who are more than 60 years old. It is usually associated with a painless gradually progressive or sudden drop in vision. If you experience such symptoms please consult your ophthalmologist at the earliest.  A retina check up with investigations such as Optical Coherence Tomography and Fundus Angiography tell us about the structure and function of the retina. Accordingly further management including Intravitreal injections can be decided upon.
