What kind of eye specialist are you?

I’m a pediatric and squint eye specialist.

Where did you study?

I did my MBBS from Pune and DOMS from MGM institute, Navi-Mumbai. I did my IOL fellowship from the prestigious Sankara Eye Hospital and Paediatric fellowship from the renowned Baroda children eye hospital, Baroda and HV Desai Eye hospital, Pune.

What are your areas of interest in Pediatric ophthalmology?

My areas of interest are progressive myopia and its treatment, newer amblyopia therapies, squint and cataract surgeries.

I have done presentations in national and international conferences.

What inspired you to do ophthalmology?

I was fascinated by how effective numbers and calculations were in strabismus and could correct squint and refractive errors in children.

What do you do when you’re not at work?

I love Swimming,reading, traveling and stand up comedy shows.
