Keeping alive the tradition of philanthropy started by Dr. S.P. Shroff, and to fulfill the Vision of serving all sections of society, Shroff Eye Centre facilities are made available free to the weaker sections of society.

All charitable activities of Shroff Eye Centre are carried out through the Dr. Minoo Shroff Memorial Trust. Three separate outpatient clinics are being run to serve the underprivileged section of society. These clinics are run in charitable dispensaries located in Zamrudpur village run by Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association (DCWA), SAVERA Association, in Sriniwaspuri, and an exclusive Dr. Minoo Shroff Memorial Trust OPD at the Kailash Colony branch of Shroff Eye Centre.

Patients examined at the charitable dispensaries requiring further specialized examination, investigation or treatment including surgeries, are seen at Shroff Eye Centre, where they are treated totally free of cost. A dedicated operation theatre and 6 bedded inpatient facility is available for them.

Over the last three years, 16914 patients were examined in these clinics and 3840 refractions were performed. A total of 1875 Surgeries, including retina and cataract, have been carried out and 137 cases of Corneal transplant have been conducted during this period.

Many activities of the Minoo Shroff Memorial trust are possible because of the generosity of several benefactors. Shroff Eye Centre is indebted to all the donors who assist in enabling the charitable work to be carried out.

In addition, Dr. Noshir Shroff, Dr. Cyrus Shroff, and Dr. Daraius Shroff are Trustees, as well as, Senior consultants and Advisers of the Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), Daryaganj.
