Where did you study?

I completed my retina training from the famous Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi and Shroff Eye Centre.

Other Academic Achievements?

Actively involved in research, I have co-authored many papers on vitreoretinal surgery in diabetic retinopathy and laser. I also enjoy teaching DNB students.

What inspired you to do ophthalmology?

I come from a family of doctors where this profession always enamored me. Being a doctor gave me a platform to offer limitless hope and happiness to people who seem to be bereft of it at a particular point in time. Watching gloom turn into joy could only come from a profession like this. My definition of a surgery is a place where miracles happen and who doesn’t love miracles. I have always yearned to be a part a miracle and so I chose to be a surgeon.

What do you do when you’re not at work?

My hobbies include sports like lawn tennis and swimming. I am also a car enthusiast and closely follow the automotive industry.
