Keeping alive the tradition of philanthropy started by Dr. S.P. Shroff, Shroff Eye Centre facilities are made available free to the weaker sections of society. Shroff Eye Centre runs free eye clinics in charitable dispensaries located in Zamrudpur village run by Delhi Commonwealth Women's Association (DCWA) and SAVERA Association, in Sriniwaspuri, serving patients from the underprivileged section of society.

Patients examined at these charitable dispensaries requiring further detailed examination, investigation or treatment including surgeries, are seen at Shroff Eye Centre, where all the aforementioned facilities and materials are provided to them totally free of cost. In the year 2009 itself, 5761 cases were examined at the DCWA clinic and 630 operations carried out absolutely free of cost using all the necessary facilities at Shroff Eye Centre. Similar volume of charitable work was carried on patients referred by the SAVERA Association."
